Payment and ordering

For UK customers please browse our site and add your required items via the "Add to Basket" buttons which are displayed next to every item throughout the site. Once you have selected the items you wish to purchase please select the "View Basket" button located on the left of the page. This will enable you to proceed to pay for your goods via Paypal. If you do not have a Paypal account then please click here to open one or alternatively one can be created during checkout.

The preferred payment method for UK customers is by Paypal, which allows you to make online payments using a debit or credit card or bank account. Payment by cheque or postal order can be accepted by prior arrangement, please click here to email us your requirements instead of using the "Add to Basket" buttons.

If any item is out of stock your order will be slightly delayed to allow us to obtain more supplies, before dispatching your entire order. We will email you to advise you that the order is delayed and to give you the option to cancel the out of stock part of your order if you would rather not wait for us to obtain more supplies.

Certain items like cages, Java tree products and playstands are normally dispatched direct from the manufacturer and can only be supplied to UK based customers.

For international customers please click here to email us your requirements. We will reply with a quotation, as postal costs can vary depending on your place of residence. Payment can only be made by a fully verified Paypal account and we can only ship to Paypal approved countries in Europe, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

All payments we receive from you will be acknowledged by email and we will advise you by email when your order is dispatched.

Please note that cages and playstands can only be shipped to UK addresses. We only sell to the general public (retail) and are unable to sell at trade prices.


Items listed for sale on this website do not include carriage (postage and packaging costs) unless otherwise stated. Cages & playstands have seperate delivery costs seperate to the below table and the price shown for cages & playstands includes the carriage per item for deliveries within the mainland of the United Kingdom. Deliveries of large orders to the following postcode areas BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44 , PH49-50, TR21-25, ZE & offshore addresses may incur additional carriage charges, please email us for a quotation.

Goods will be dispatched from within the UK once the total transaction funds have been received. For deliveries outside of the United Kingdom you are responsible for any applicable import duty and taxes that may arise from any transaction placed through this website.

Postage and packaging costs are as specified below. Claims for missing or non-receipt of goods, or goods damaged in transit will not be accepted unless insurance was taken at the time the order was placed. We are not responsible for any delays caused by postal and courier services or other reasons beyond our control.

If you require your order to be sent to more than one destination or to be part shipped if an item is out of stock then this can be arranged if requested but additional postage and packaging costs will be applicable.

Cages, Java tree products & playstands are normally sent directly from the manufacturer via a courier service and are only available to customers within the United Kingdom. Delivery is normally within 72 hours but can vary if the item is not immediately available then delivery make take up to 6 weeks.


Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you the consumer have a seven day cooling off period starting the day after shipment to cancel the order for all retail mail order transactions with the exception of: Items specifically ordered, built or made for you, postage and packaging costs and charges, transaction charges (Fastpay, Paypal, Google Checkout or similar), unsealed or opened, used or perishable items, items where the prices fluctuate and/or are volatile, trade and business transactions.

Postage and packaging costs and charges and transaction charges are a separate contract and are deemed as a service that has begun and has been completed before the end of the cooling off period. To return goods (except cages, playstands and Java products) you must send us written confirmation within the cooling off period. You are responsible for the cost of returning the items, which must be returned to us and received by us as new and complete. Goods are not sold on a trial basis.

Cages, playstands & Java products are normally supplied direct from the manufacturer and are specifically ordered and any problems or faults will be rectified directly by the manufacturer. To return cages, playstands and Java products you must send us written confirmation within the cooling off period. You are responsible for the cost of returning the items, which must be returned via an approved and insured courier directly to the manufacturer/supplier and received by them as new and complete. Goods are not sold on a trial basis. Non-faulty returns may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

If you need to return anything (except cages, playstands & Java products) we will replace it with an identical item or item of same value (additional carriage fees applicable) or refund the cost with in 30 days excluding the original and return carriage and associated costs. This applies to goods returned within 7 days, which are in their original unopened packaging and in their original new and complete condition. We reserve the right to refuse a full refund if the above critera is not complied with.

All items (excluding large items like cages and playstands which are checked by the manufacturers) are pre-checked and hand packed prior to dispatch. If an order is lost or damaged in transit it will take 16 working days from the date of dispatch prior to the Royal Mail investigating the incident and providing a case reference number. Damaged items will be required to be returned directly to Royal Mail Customer Services once a case reference has been allocated and full details of the returns procedure will be notified by email. If a replacement product or order is sent out and the damaged item is not returned as per our instructions or the returns procedure is not correctly carried out then a charge will be applicable for the replacement of the order plus all associated costs. Certificate of postings are obtained for all shipments made via the Royal Mail service.

Promotional or free items will also need to be returned as per the above conditions if the qualifying purchase(s) is/are returned. We reserve the right to apply a charge if the above critera is not complied with in.

In the unlikely event that a price for an item displayed within this website has been incorrectly displayed or incorrect details are processed through the Paypal or Google payment systems then we reserve the right to amend the price of your purchase and grant you the option to cancel your order.

With all toys & treats, pets should be supervised when these are in use. We are not liable or responsible for any way in which any purchase from this website is used. We are not responsible or liable for any claims made by the manufacturers or suppliers of the items listed for sale on this website.

The contents of this website including images, text, trade marks and underlying code are protected by copyright and intellectual property rights and these belong to Feathered Pets or to other third parties, companies and suppliers.
